An Open Road

A drive on the open road is something I had always loved.
It has that vigor, which leads me deeply
Every trip creates a new version of your feelings,
That brief lapse from the maze of thought,
That sense of belonging,
That feel of a frozen moment,
This is where you connect with what’s called Being.                   
    
With every chance of living, you meet with the routes.
Sometimes forking road may entail for a choice. 
Choices we make, some we regret for, some we’re proud of.
A choice of being spirited or being fearful about everything.
Though it’s tough,we cannot step ahead without choices. 
These may be the choices that sculpt your life.
Maybe this is the one, you dreamt off.
